Once upon a time, while surfing, I came across the belowmentioned article. It is a tad paradoxical because the writer himself was a 65 year old man who was looking for love on the net. Food for thought though.

After going on line with dating services I find that everything about the whole scheme is only a placebo for those emotionally deprived individuals who are looking for an outlet for their feeling on the Internet as it is a place where they have the ability to remain incognito without exposing themselves to the viewers; therefore the advantage of being anonymous is what drives these individuals to the dating sites, and it is only a fantasy to hope for finding someone real in this surreal world of holograms and technical innovations which has the ability to create something which is part of your dream in this real world it is something which disillutioned adults are seeking in the world of virtual reality in reality it is very much like what we experience in the made up world of Hollywood which has given us films like GenerationXXX
