One more for the road...
Ok, where do I start after a long absence?
Hmmm... ok... been so busy at work at the expense of my health. The doctor made close to $200 from me within a span of 3 weeks thanks to a persistent virulent flu bug. It did not help either that I was constantly at work and lost my voice on a few occasions. Actually went around with a pen and a paper. Felt so handicapped not being able to talk. The feeling is almost surreal. There are so many things that one might want to say but without the voice, almost all is lost. It doesn't help either that some people's comprehension capabilities are severely limited.
I realised that even though technology has been a boon to mankind on the whole as a great communication tool, it has also caused us to be handicapped in quite a number of ways. For example, how many of us here can truly remember 10 contact numbers without referring to the handphone address book? How about 5 addresses of our immediate relatives? Not much right?
Technology has also made it much easier for egoists to have the last say even though it might not be right. Or have information mangled to their whims and fancies in the hands of immature-nothing-better-to-do-ghettoans-posers.
I have to go back to studying... honestly...
